This culinary adventure begins with a local fare at the Hawker centre! Everyone will tell you the hawker centre is a foodie haven, the place one can only truly find street food in Singapore. We will sample signature dishes such as Wanton noodles, fried carrot cake among other Signature  street food dishes.

Featured in the episode is KEK Seafood restaurant, henceforth on our adventure is to, of course, try this the popular dish called Chilli Crab.  Also famous in this restaurant is a dish called the “Moonlight Hor Fun”, a broad flat rice noodle dish fried till charred with the unique aroma from the wok.  In the episode, Wayne and his brothe Paul had to prove to their Dad that they are worthy to inherit the wok from him through their sheer hard work and efforts. They succeeded!

We will take a walk around the neighbourhood which brings you closer to the heartland of Singapore.  One of the highlights is The Interlace Condominium, named World Building of the Year at the 2015 World Architecture Festival. Let our eyes have their feast too!

Of course, the adventure will not be complete without sweets.  Kueh tutu or putu piring is a round-shaped, steamed rice flour snack filled with fillings such as palm sugar, peanut or coconut shavings.
