Pickles recipe- Israeli/ Balkan style by Karni Tomer – food explorer


In a sanitised jar add big chunks of cabbage , carrot sticks , 5-7 cloves of garlic , one green chili, celery stalks and leaves , fresh Dill. Dill is very important for the pickles fermantation . You can find it at Tekka market or Mustafa or cold storage.
Cover with salted water ( one teaspoon of salt on one every cup of mineral / filtered water.
Leave out side for 4-5 days at least
